A graduate of The Lir Academy, Marty has worked as an actor with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Gate Theatre, Lyric Theatre, National Theatre UK, Playwright Studio Scotland, Rough Magic, Fishamble Theatre, Dead Centre, Abbey Theatre, Prime Cut, MGM, Disney, FX, RTÉ, Two Cities, BBC, Treasure, Eclipse Pictures, Samson Films, Netflix, Lionsgate and CBS.

Marty’s first play, BITCH, is an award-winning theatre-cabaret drag performance that is set for touring dates in late 2026.

She is the winner of the Romilly Walton Masters Award for experimental theatremaking 2025 (with the Centre Culturel Irlandais and Dublin Fringe), the Radical Spirit of Fringe commissioning award 2024, an Arts Council Next Generation Award recipient 2023, and an Axis Theatre Assemble artist. She is currently under commission with Project Arts & Dublin Fringe Festival.
